'Not a fair system’: Calls for regular property reassessments dominate state policy committee hearing

PA practice leader, Sharon DiPaolo, testified yesterday regarding Pennsylvania's "dysfunctional property reassessment system." She urged the Pennsylvania state policy committee to consider a regular countywide reassessment schedule, similar to that in Ohio. Pennsylvania is the only state that does not require regular reassessments and some counties have not been reassessed in decades.
